What Naomi Said . . .

I decided that I wanted to get baptised a few weeks ago because of a book called "The Shock of Your Life" about three people who all die in one car crash. One of them is a half-hearted Christian and when she finally gets judged she realises how little she has done for God because she didn't receive any rewards at the final judgement and she really regrets not being able to do anything about it.

This made me think about my faith in a different way and I decided to get baptised as proof of how I feel about God, and I wanted to seize my opportunity to do all I could for God.

So, Naomi, why this song?

"Hear my Prayer, O Lord" has got to be my favourite song because the first time we sang it was at Spring Harvest, so it always reminds me of that.

Also just the line

"For you have been my strength in times of trouble"
says it all really.
