SUNDAY

Today we attended the church service. It was an hour and a half long, which would have stretched my sitting capacity at the best of times. The fact that I couldn't understand any of it didn't help.

After the service Graham took me and John on a tour of Old Riga. It's a startling juxtaposition of traditional Latvian architecture and reminders of Soviet occupation. We also met some English people who were on a stag weekend and came from somewhere near Sheffield.
