MONDAY
Today we went into Riga town centre and met up with a couple of the Latvian girls from camp; Magdalena and Erica.
It turns out that Latvian girls are not obsessed with shopping in quite the same way as English girls, so the hardcore shoppers (most of the English girls) went into Riga to shop and the rest of us went off to cause trouble.
It was very good fun; first we tried to make the guards at the monument to freedom laugh (like the guys at that place in London, they're not allowed to move or smile), then we fed some pigeons, did some busking, looked around some toy shops, and went to visit Iveta (one of the organisers of the camps). Surprisingly, we didn't actually get told off by anyone! We did get a few suspicious looks though, and some toy shopkeepers followed us around their stores...
