This is a special time for people who love Jesus and have made a personal commitment (by faith) to love and trust Him as their Saviour. Jesus himself gave us this special opportunity to remember him: by breaking bread together during the service we remember that his body was broken for us and his blood shed for the forgiveness of our sins.Sunday Evenings

6pm Evening Service
with
Breaking of Bread
at Steep Turnpike Evangelical Church, Matlock
NO evening service on first Sundays - the Breaking of Bread is at 10am instead
If you have not made this commitment, we ask you simply to pass on the bread and the wine without tasting it yourself.
There is nothing 'magical' in the actual bread or wine - they are simply symbols, but very important ones!
