REGULAR ACTIVITIES

Regular children's activities are held in the easy to find church building.

For Sunday Club no registration is required. These are open to everyone - you can simply 'turn up'. If you prefer, you can contact us first.

Weekday childrens' activities have limited space, however, so please contact us first if you are interested in these. Age groups for activities are listed in the Kids' Weekly Diary (see right).

There is a creche for babies during each Family service (details at end of this page).

PARENTS & TODDLERS GROUPS

Our regular Parents & Toddlers group is called Tiptoes - details are in the Kids' Weekly Diary (see right).

The Dads' group, Dads, Toddlers & Bacon Butties is listed below under holiday activities.

HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES

Dads, Toddlers & Bacon Butties

Dads and Tots One Saturday during each half term, Dads gather from all over Matlock for a Bacon Butty Breakfast - unless you're a vegetarian, in which case we'll think of something else!

Holiday Clubs

Holiday Clubs There are special activities for children during the School Holidays.

Last year we ran Pyramid Rock! and this year we ran "Waste Watchers". Next year . . . secret! Please keep checking this website for further information, or ask to be put on the mailing list now (see form on right hand side).
Registration is always essential for any holiday activities, because they are very popular and we run out of spaces fast! You are welcome to make enquiries as far ahead as you like!

USING OUR CHILDRENS' WEBSITE

We provide kids.inmatlock.com - a fun website for your children to use in addition to our regular church website.

kids.inmatlock.com has photos and also jigsaws, typing games and other activities / games which we have devised ourselves and which we host on our own website.

Please monitor your child's use of the internet!

However, we also include links to other Christian websites with suitable games and fun activities. We believe that these links are to 'safe' sites, but we have no control over their content (which may change) and we ask that you would please monitor your child's use of the internet, and let us know of any problems that may arise.

Photo Galleries

If you would like your child's photo to appear on the website following special events, please send us a signed letter giving your permission (or ask for a form to fill in). We will not include your child's name on the website. Thank you for your help in this matter.

CHILDREN' WEEKLY DIARY

Activities are Weekly in Term-time

MONDAYS: TIPTOES

10 - 11.30 am on Monday mornings
Age: Pre-Schoolers (accompanied)

An opportunity to let your children play with others (under your supervision) in a big, safe space. Toddler Fun!
You get to have a cuppa and a chat with other adults.

Please contact church if you would like to bring your child to Tiptoes.

TUESDAYS: FOOTSTEPS

Tuesdays 6.15pm
.Age: Year 2 - Year 6.

Now there's no waiting list for Footsteps!

Nearly 40 children having fun - a good, friendly mix of boys and girls across the age range. Ears ready for a fun quiz? Or a story? Body ready for action songs and games? Hands ready for crafts? What about team games? Yeah - you should be there!
What do you mean: 'Are there prizes?' Oh, OK! Prizes too!

FRIDAYS: STRIDES

6.30pm - Years 6,7,8
7.30pm - Year 9 upwards. Check it out! The young people in this club do an astonishingly wide range of activities, indoors & out, home & away. It's FUN!

SUNDAYS, 11am: SUNDAY CLUB

Sunday Club is for children aged 4 - 14 yrs.

During term-time Sunday Clubs for several age-groups are held for 30 mins during the family service. This service also includes various children's items.

During school holidays there are informal activities for Primary age children instead of Sunday Club. During the summer holidays these are 'Sunday Summer Activities'.

During term-time there is a creche run by church members during the Family Service.
